Two Backgrounds. One Mission.
David Bote and Brad Hovis came from different professional backgrounds but share a common conviction:
Professional athletes should have the knowledge and opportunity to turn their playing careers into lasting financial freedom.

He Lived the Opportunity. He Understands the Challenge.
David Bote spent years pursuing a dream that very few athletes achieve. After being drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2012, David worked his way through the minor leagues before making his Major League debut in 2018.
His career included memorable moments, including his dramatic two-out, two-strike, walk-off grand slam at Wrigley Field. But beyond the highlights, David experienced the realities of professional baseball.
And the understanding that even a successful professional sports career eventually ends. David recognized that he wasn't going to earn the kind of enormous contract reserved for a small number of superstar athletes.
His career still provided an extraordinary financial opportunity. The question was how to make that opportunity last.
He wanted to preserve his earnings, avoid unnecessary risks, and pursue investment income that could support his family beyond baseball. Through his longtime relationship with Brad Hovis, David became interested in the financial freedom that disciplined investing and ownership of income-producing assets could create.
That pursuit helped inspire ProWealth Playbook. Today, David wants to help other professional athletes understand how to turn a limited earning window into a lasting financial future.
You don't need the biggest contract in sports to take your financial future seriously.
You need a plan.
